OUR STORY

From planning our wedding in Bali to creating fun, local events at home, we love bringing people together for an enjoyable, memorable experience. Locale was founded in the heart of Berkeley Hills when we were craving to be with friends, family, and our community during a very tough time. We discovered our love of wine from the many nights spent on our patio with a glass. Our experience relaxing outside enjoying sunset views with wine has been so special that we wanted to create our own.

OUR PROCESS

We start with organic, dry-farmed grapes from old vines from family owned vineyards. Older vines produce more consistently good, more concentrated fruit, and dry farming is a way to further enhance the grapes’ flavor. We took these grapes through a process called carbonic maceration, in which the grapes ferment from the inside out, without needing the assistance of added yeast. Carbonic maceration results in a wine that is low in acidity and tannins with fruity and earthy notes.

GREEN SOCIETY

Our California wine comes from organic & dry farmed (no irrigation) vineyards. We offer natural, low SO2 wines created entirely by hand for you to enjoy with the people you love. 

SIMPLE IS BETTER

We keep things simple and curate high quality grapes from small family vineyards. Our minimal intervention wines stay away from all additives to create a compelling, exceptional taste.
